The beauty of California’s Gold Country is on full display during tours with Rail Explorers.  The new 2-hour railbike tour follows the Amador Central Railroad, originally called the Ione and Eastern Railroad when it was built in 1904 to provide transportation and supplies for miners. Railbike riders will experience a truly effortless ride that offers incredible views in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Rail Explorers’ railbikes are pedal-powered, have hydraulic disc brakes, and feature a custom-built electric motor to offer guests of all ages and abilities – including those who are visually or hearing impaired, or differently abled – the opportunity to participate.
